Local moves are considered any
move in the area of 35 miles or less. All local moves are done
on an hourly rate. The rates are as followed:
Truck and 2 men $100.00/hour + Travel Time
Truck and 3 men $125.00/hour + Travel Time
Truck and 4 men $150.00/hour + Travel Time
All local moves have a 1 hour travel time. The travel time is
a one time flat rate, depending on the number of men used for
the job. The rate covers the truck and men from the time they
leave the warehouse until they get to the origin of the shipment.
Then when the job is complete, it covers the time back to the
warehouse.
Moving time starts when the driver arrives at your home. The
crew will then load your household goods onto the truck, follow you
directly to the destination, and unload the truck. Once everything
is delivered, the time will stop. You will be charged for the
total number of hours worked, plus the travel time. Each hour
is rounded up to the nearest quarter hour.
Local moving services include disassembly of beds, dresser mirrors,
desks, and anything that needs to be disassembled in order to
get the job done. Anything we disassemble, we will reassemble
for you.
We do not disconnect washers and dryers. If you have a washer
and dryer, they need to be disconnected by you.
Hourly rates do not include any boxes or packing services. Please
